scrubs again
well my addiction to scrubs it still fully on. i think i've pretty much killed the entire weekend watching it. i'm almost done with season two. i did get out for ruchir's birthday and joe's reception on saturday. saturday was the last night yohana was in town from hawaii. and another thing about saturday, i was at the southdale mall and one of the indians (feather, not a red dot) who sells those cds with the flutes (or whatever instrument that is). they are always in the malls at christmas time. well he was listening to headphones while sitting at the table with all his cds. i thought that was pretty funny. and i guess on friday i got out too, went to the imperial room and then hit up rosens. which made it one fun filled night of happy hour drinking. anyway i told myself i'm going to try and not over drink. and i one for one, because on saturday i didn't.

scrubs
god damn i have to post more and god damn i'm addicted to scrubs the tv sitcom. right now i'm in my local coffee house and dana just start watching surbs too. she thought she was on season three or four. but it is just funny she started getting into it at around the same time. tonite the OATI crew is going to half time rec. hopefully i'll have fun, but i'm not too positive about it. some shitty irish band is playing. i'm not a fan of irish music in general. it is usually played to loud and it is a big sweaty hairy guy signing. nothing i need to expose myself to too often. but on a positive note it is taco tuesday. god damn scrubs is awesome!

bag handlers
the minneapolis or detroit or philadelphia baggage handlers can suck my nuts. those faggots stole my cheese. i went to di bruno brothers and bought a bunch of nice cheeses for myself to enjoy and now i no longer have them.
i really hate "security". people shouldn't give up their rights, so all they can do is be fucked with by everyone. security level orange, does that mean take all the fucking cheese you can stuff your fat fucking face with, because your a piece of shit and will probably handle luggage the rest of your life.
i think i'm going to blame philadelphia for this one. man i haven't checked any baggage the last four times i've flown and christ those fucking inconsiderate niggers (don't worry black people this isn't directed towards just you, i hate everyone, your not that special).
my mom always thought me "if it is not yours, don't touch it." pretty easy rule, that some people cannot seem to follow.

to megan
well i've been "dating" this girl for the last couple weeks, and it was going great or so i thought, hehe. she was a very cool girl. our first date was bowling.
... i just walked to the store to great a dobse and had a million things on my mind and now that i'm at this computer my mind went blank.
oops... friends came over. time to drink. to be continue if motivation exists...

week recap
well last weekend, Sunday Oct 22nd, i saw the bouncing souls play at first ave. they played a pretty good show. however i was a little disappointed, they still haven't played my favorite song neurotic. i stayed after the show and told the lead singer, lance i think, i wish he would have played it and that i loved the band. so hopefully next time he comes to town, minneapolis, he will play my favorite bouncing souls song neurotic.
this weekend was kinda a bust. well on thrusday i closed down nye's, so needless to say friday was an early night. and saturday was joe's halloween party, which was fun, but not a lot of people showed. i dressed up and the flying spaghetti monster, it took me all day to make, hehe. the night only got worse since i had to go into work for the day light saving time switch. so right now i'm kinda tired, but hopefully i'll be fun to with my sushi date megan.

mark farina weekend
this weekend was kind of a blur. especially sunday, as most of the day was spend in bed recovering. it is kind of fun to think back to the previous night and try think about how drunk you were before you went to sleep and if you should have drove home or not... i don't think i was that drunk.
back to saturday. i got a lot done on the download security of relay, my mobile application. saturday night i walked around southdale and bought some clothes. i got a basic gray polo at j. crew. i will note that there was a cute girl working there. i wil have to make my return. and at banana republic i bought casual collared shirt. before i bought it i noticed it said slim fit. when i got home the shirt was a little tight arund the chest, so i'll have to return it. too bad it was a cool pattern. later that night i went and saw mark farina. he was sounding pretty good, but i wasn't in the mood. my head kinda hurt. i think the baristas at dunn brothers are getting weak on me. aka. giving me decaf... because i don't tip a dollar every time... i say this because my headache felt like a caffeine withdrawal headache. it isn't like they make great cappuccinos... i think tipping people who you only have brief interactions with is questionable. in the same breathe i'll mention i was a valet for three years.
friday was fun. we went to williams and played darts, which i suck at. it is funny i need to make sure i drink some before i start playing, otherwise i'm too conscious on how i hold the dart.

one liners
here is the first one liner i have ever written. it will find the process id of itunes and show you all the mp3s it currently has open. very useful if you like to share you music on the network, but get mad when people start raping your music library. so if you run this command three times and it appears like the user has listened to three different songs in a couple seconds; this probably means someone is downloading your music library. i also use menu meters, so i can see my bandwidth skyrocket.
ps -A | grep -e iTunes | awk '{ system("lsof -p " $1); }' | grep -e mp3
here is the zsh alias, kind of a pain to figure out how to nest the single quotes.
alias it='ps -A | grep -e iTunes | awk '"'"'{ system("lsof -p " $1); }'"'"' | grep -e mp3'

beer
autumn beer festival should be on everyones calendar for next year. it looks like they have a winter festival, so i'll probably hit that up. it is pretty sweet, they give you a four ounce glass and you can fill it up till you are retarded.

hour of power
i just watched steven baldwin, live might i add (sunday morning baby) in crystal cathedral promoting some livinit.org crap. it was on a show called hourofpower.com. some christian crap. it is a show where everyone sees god and the wounder things he does. and they happen to be in a multi-million dollar church. go figure.
well back to the steven baldwin thing. he is promoting some bmx and skater kids who go across the us sharing the word of god. so they made a film and it is soo great. these kids are cool in the eyes of popular society and they are passionate about god. what more could you want? so they made a dvd to show how really cool they are.
too bad. i wasn't fooled. most of the kids looked like fags. and they talked about how they are inspired by and see god in their daily lives. one even had the never to say, "yea, i saw god this morning." what the hell does that mean. i guess i could buy the more (better yet download it, i am not supporting their asses) and figure it out. i am not sure if i'd rip my head of by the end or not...
i just searched youtube and found this.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEI4kAtpu0M
after watching it i'm a little confused... it is just kids skating to some coldplay song... the point was made, by steven baldwin, that these people actually like christian music.
now i watched the trailer on the livinit.org website. and it has them baptizing eachother in the ocean and them praying before they skate. just seems ridiculous to me. in all honesty they are probably really nice people, just i'm positive their minds are beyond warped.

plastic
my co-workers an i frequent a restaurant called el azteca and have probably been there at least 50 times. and today something special happened, we now have a two card limit on our tab. this pissed me off. you figure you go to a restaurant enough and they wouldn't hassle you with petty crap like this and you might be garnished with some perks, but i guess not. the previous day we went to a place called the tea house. it is a chinese restaurant with a lunch buffet. we went there as a going away lunch because someone was leaving the company i work for. when we left to pay our tab, we were only allowed to use eight cards (there were like 20 of us). i was a little confused with this number and how it was derived...
these don't seem like big things, but...
