hour of power
i just watched steven baldwin, live might i add (sunday morning baby) in crystal cathedral promoting some livinit.org crap. it was on a show called hourofpower.com. some christian crap. it is a show where everyone sees god and the wounder things he does. and they happen to be in a multi-million dollar church. go figure.
well back to the steven baldwin thing. he is promoting some bmx and skater kids who go across the us sharing the word of god. so they made a film and it is soo great. these kids are cool in the eyes of popular society and they are passionate about god. what more could you want? so they made a dvd to show how really cool they are.
too bad. i wasn't fooled. most of the kids looked like fags. and they talked about how they are inspired by and see god in their daily lives. one even had the never to say, "yea, i saw god this morning." what the hell does that mean. i guess i could buy the more (better yet download it, i am not supporting their asses) and figure it out. i am not sure if i'd rip my head of by the end or not...
i just searched youtube and found this.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEI4kAtpu0M
after watching it i'm a little confused... it is just kids skating to some coldplay song... the point was made, by steven baldwin, that these people actually like christian music.
now i watched the trailer on the livinit.org website. and it has them baptizing eachother in the ocean and them praying before they skate. just seems ridiculous to me. in all honesty they are probably really nice people, just i'm positive their minds are beyond warped.

plastic
my co-workers an i frequent a restaurant called el azteca and have probably been there at least 50 times. and today something special happened, we now have a two card limit on our tab. this pissed me off. you figure you go to a restaurant enough and they wouldn't hassle you with petty crap like this and you might be garnished with some perks, but i guess not. the previous day we went to a place called the tea house. it is a chinese restaurant with a lunch buffet. we went there as a going away lunch because someone was leaving the company i work for. when we left to pay our tab, we were only allowed to use eight cards (there were like 20 of us). i was a little confused with this number and how it was derived...
these don't seem like big things, but...
